In 2024, Glen Aplin State School was the recipient of a grant under the school food program, which has enabled us to provide a free lunch for our students every Friday. We call it Foodie Fridays and it is the children's favourite day of the week!
Students are able to choose what they would like to eat. Some of the offerings have included toasted sandwiches, Mexican bread baskets, creamy chicken pasta and spaghetti bolognese.
We love being able to take the pressure off parents 1 day a week and providing our students with a delicious, nutritious meal.
